Community Guidelines

1. Overview

Adhunik Invest is a community-powered platform where entrepreneurs and reviewers collaborate to elevate great ideas. These guidelines ensure a respectful, fair, and productive environment for everyone.

All users must follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

2. For Pitchers

Content Standards

  • Submit original content that you have the right to share
  • Provide accurate information about your startup and team
  • Ensure your pitch video is clear, audible, and professional
  • Do not include explicit, violent, or offensive content
  • Respect intellectual property rights of others

Prohibited Pitch Content

  • Illegal products or services
  • Gambling or betting platforms (except fantasy sports)
  • Adult content or services
  • Weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
  • Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes
  • Misleading or fraudulent business models

3. For Reviewers

Review Standards

  • Watch the full pitch before rating
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback
  • Answer comprehension questions truthfully
  • Write reviews of at least 80 words with substance
  • Be respectful even when giving critical feedback

Prohibited Review Behavior

  • Rating without watching (detected by time-gate)
  • Coordinated voting or review manipulation
  • Copy-pasting generic or AI-generated reviews
  • Personal attacks or harassment of pitchers
  • Rating based on factors unrelated to pitch quality
  • Self-reviewing or reviewing team members' pitches

4. Prohibited Content

The following is not allowed anywhere on Adhunik Invest:

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, etc.
  • Threats, harassment, or bullying
  • Spam, phishing, or malware
  • Impersonation of other users or public figures
  • False or misleading information
  • Personal information of others without consent
  • Content that violates Indian law

5. Enforcement

We use AI moderation and human review to enforce these guidelines. Violations are handled based on severity:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations
  • Content Removal: Violating content is removed
  • Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations (7-30 days)
  • Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated serious violations
  • Disqualification: Pitch removed from competition with refund per policy

6. Appeal Process

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error:

  1. File an appeal within 48 hours of the action
  2. Provide a clear explanation and any supporting evidence
  3. Our moderation team will review within 72 hours
  4. You will be notified of the decision via email
